PTG RPT Examinee Ethics Pledge
By creating an account and participating in the Piano Technicians Guild Registered Piano Technician (RPT) examination process, I agree to conduct myself honestly, professionally, and ethically at all times.
I understand and agree that:
- I am responsible for maintaining the security of my account credentials and will not share my account access with any other person.
- All examination work submitted will be entirely my own. I will not seek, receive, provide, or use unauthorized assistance during any portion of an examination.
- I will not copy, photograph, record, screenshot, reproduce, distribute, or share examination questions, answers, or other examination materials in any format.
- I will not attempt to gain unfair advantage through deception, misrepresentation, impersonation, unauthorized materials, or any other form of cheating.
- I will follow all examination procedures, instructions, and requirements established by the Piano Technicians Guild and its authorized examiners.
- I will treat examiners, volunteers, staff, and fellow examinees with professionalism and respect.
- I understand that examination content is confidential and remains the property of the Piano Technicians Guild.
- I understand that violations of this pledge or any examination policies may result in the suspension of my account, invalidation of examination results, disqualification from the examination process, or other actions permitted under PTG policies.
